FETTUCCINE TICKETS


Please get your UNSOLD tickets returned to school if you are GUARANTEED NOT to sell them.  Other students/parents need additional tickets to sell.  This is very important.  All tickets must be account for.  I hope I don't have to chase people down.  Parents, please double check with your student making sure they are getting these UNSOLD tickets returned.  ANOTHER REMINDER:  ALL MONEY IS DUE BY FRIDAY.  We have to do a ticket count and get this to our cook to be ready for March 14.  Thank you to all your continuing efforts to make things run smoothly and for cooperating with the deadlines.  Without you, the boosters could not be possible.  Thank you.

Saturday 22 Feb Krewe of Caesar Parade

BAND...now read this!

Thank you to all of the parents/boosters who helped in every way with last night's parade! You were awesome! Band, you had a lot of and sounded excited! Remember that TONE QUALITY is the #1 aspect of sound and straight is straight; crooked is crooked, when it comes to alignment.

Tonight's Krewe of Caesar, 5.5 miles, more than double that of the Omega route, will take about 3.5 hours once we step off. Please think about pacing yourself.
Good luck to our band members who are participating in the district Literary Rally this morning at SLU.
See you all later today. Bandroom will be open between 2:30 and 3:00.

Fettucine Dinner Tickets


BAND... Now read this!!

The 2nd Annual Fettuccine Dinner Fundraiser is underway. I am positive that it will as delicious as last year's meal. Tickets have been issued, in groups of 10 to students, with some have multiples of 10. Please help the sale of these tickets. Understand that all tickets must be accounted for, so please check pockets BEFORE you do the laundry! To date, 1000 tickets have been issued. If you have tickets that you know you either cannot or will not be able to sell, PLEASE return the unsold tickets to me. I can reissue them to other students/parent who need more tickets. The sooner, the better.

It is IMPORTANT that you see me before placing anything for the Fettuccine Dinner Fundraiser into the dropbox. I would much rather reshuffle/reissue tickets than to have them go unsold.

17 -23 Feb 14 Rah Rah Mardi Gras!


Band... Now read this!

Here's another fun-filled, busy week. Please note that we have only 1, yes ONE, concert band ASR this week on Monday. The Thursday ASR is FULL MB for the parades this weekend. Let me remind you all of your commitment to the band. Parades are a major source of revenue that benefits EVERYONE! Therefore, everyone participates!!  Besides, you'll miss all of the fun!

The parade plan is FDU for Band and Full Warm-up Warm-up Suit w/ matching hair for Guard. I will check the weather and decide on headgear later in the week.

Congrats to the Winterguard for a great performance this past Saturday at Harrison Central!! Way to go! I am proud of you all for your hard work and dedication to the team.

Thank you for the surprises that were left on my desk. Much appreciated!

Thanks to everyone, students, parents, administration, etc., for all that you do for the band. I hope that band is special for all of you!

Booster Meeting & Payment Deadline

Parents - 

There will be no booster meeting in February.
However, there will be a short booster meeting in March (non-related Disney matters).
We will have a MANDATORY meeting for Disney Parents/Chaperones.  During this mandatory meeting you will receive Chaperone duties and rooming information.  Please note that all Disney balances are due NO LATER than March 10, 2014.
