Band … Now read this!!
Please read the information that Mrs. Hooper
posted, concerning Dress Code for Camp.
Here are more details for Monday’s Field trip
to Lafayette:
1. Closed toe shoes for
safety, Fingertip tip length shorts/skirt/kilt, a “PONCHATOULA” identifiable
shirt (fully constructed!!), hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, highly recommended!
2. I know full well that you will
bring your CELL PHONE! Please leave your other techno-fabulous AT HOME, as we
(the band) and I (as director) will not be responsible when you ‘misplace” your
stuff!! And don’t sit there texting/talking while a performance is going on!!
RUDE!!
3. Eat a good, full meal
BEFORE you show up to the Bandroom. You may bring a “DRY SNACK” for the bus
ride.
4. MONEY! How much and for
what? You will need to bring some money for dinner/concessions at the stadium.
Cajun Field serves burgers and dogs, nachos, and such. Sorry1 no sushi! You
might want to get a souvenir patch, t-shirt, program, etc. Budget your dollars
and be responsible.
5. Transportation: All
current band students will ride the yellow hound express. It will be a tight
fit! Mr. LaBee, from Hammond High, has offered to help with overflow, as he may
have some extra seats on his bus. Be sure to thank him!
6.
The list below is the lineup for the show, in REVERSE order. We
will see whoever is at Cajun Field when we get there, and for sure watch
